Adult Education Opportunities
Calvary United Methodist Church offers our high school and older population three specific Education Programs for your consideration.
On Sunday Mornings at 10:40 AM there are two groups that meet. One group, meets in room no. 6 of the Education Wing and is led by Janice Meads. This group is a leader-led group discussion on a topical subject based on a book or guided Biblical undertaking. The second group, meets at 10:40 AM on Sunday Mornings in the Choir/Music Room and is led by Doug Speakman. This is Lectionary Bible Study is based on Year A of the Lectionary Calendar. The group studies the chosen texts and then discusses how those texts relate to our lives today as well as how they relate to one another.
Calvary Church also offers a midweek Bible Study, Wednesday mornings at 10:00 AM. This group, led by Janice Meads, studies a chosen Book of the Bible in great detail.
