Our mission is to create an environment for kids to learn how much Jesus loves them, grow them up to become loving followers of Jesus, and have a blast along the way!
What do Sundays look like for kids?
Sunday School (Ages 4+)
Our Sunday School is being recreated. Please check back to learn when classes will resume. Thank you for your patience.
Nursery
Our nursery is open during worship and welcomes children from birth to 7 years old.
Children's Moment
We believe kids are just as much of a part of our community as anybody else! Our 9:30 AM service features a small section where we have a short lesson geared towards them specifically. Our 10:45 AM service offers a learning time with our children and youth coordinator that is tailored for the kids.
What to expect when you arrive

Check-in
Check in your child at the Welcome Center in the Narthex.

Connect with Your Cell Number
At check in we will connect with your cell number so that if the nursery staff needs to contact you during the service they will do so.

Pick up
Kids wait in the nursery while you verify you are their parent or guardian.
Kids FAQs
Do I need to bring anything? Can I leave my diaper bag with you? Will you change my child's diaper?
You can leave a diaper bag for someone to change the child. We have paperwork on every child that comes into the nursery with all info about what to do and what not to do.
Will you contact me during the service if my child needs assistance?
Yes, we have your cell number and will alert you during the service that you are needed in the Nursery.
Do volunteers have background checks?
Your child's safety is our top priority, which is why every volunteer at Calvary UMC has a background check.
Is there somewhere I can go to nurse my child?
Of course! Feel free to use our nursery. Or there is also a separate space in the women's restroom in the education wing of the building.
